Multimedia Development

When looking over my multimedia project, it appeals to Naturalistic or Spatial Intelligence in multiple ways. For instance, my multimedia project includes images and videos that show different places around the world. Seeing images of nature is an element that engages learners who are naturalistic. The topic of traveling is something that would appeal to those individuals who have a strong naturalistic intelligence, my project discusses how with traveling you are able to adventure different areas around the world encouraging time out in nature. My multimedia project also supports an individual who is strong in the spatial intelligence area. For example, my Thinglink is set up with multiple different tags spread amongst the image. This would give an individual the opportunity to analyze the "map", this is something that a personal with spatial intelligence enjoys. Multimedia

Multimedia is multifaceted and includes many different ways to view media or communication. More specifically, “..computer-controlled integration of the text, graphics, drawings, still and moving images (Video), animations, audio, etc.” (Lisbdnetwork 2021) The use of multimedia allows people to view the information in various ways, making it more accessible to all, and supporting all different types of learners. I would be sure to make sure that all forms of media I am using are intentional and not distracting ...

Web Design

Web design is essential in today's world. The design of a website and its accessibility can determine if it fails or succeeds. The website I chose was the " Magic of Baltimore ", I found this website in the " The twelve worst over the top websites of 2014" section provided this week.  At first glance at this website, I didn't know where to look. There are many images and fonts that make my brain confused and clearly ignore some of the main aspects of web design.  Usability - From exploring this website, I believe that this website lacks usability. When you are on the home screen of this website, you are met with many pictures of historical figures from Baltimore. You would think, that if you clicked on these images you would be directed to something. But, you are not. I also feel that the way information is organized is quite busy, making it harder to find information wanted by the user. The article, "10 Principles of Good Web Design" talks about u...
